Plane Finder AR App Reviews

Live right on a flight path but always get an error that there are no planes in the area. Not worth paying for.

I live under the flight path at YYZ and can see planes going over head but not on this app. It seems only to be able to pick out a number of flights, but not on the app. Not really worth it until they get all the flights coming in/out.

Works 4 times on 5 best when far from airport. Worth 3$ just for the fun of it. Plus makes you look cool at events ;)

Its pretty cool although it does not alway find a plane that is right in front of you

This app is truly amazing - when it works. Sadly, thats seldom. The interface is difficult to master and not intuitive. Im always contorting my iPhone around in crazy positions to get a reading from a transponder, on those rare occasions when Plane Finder actually finds a plane "in view." I live under a major flight path route. Planes are ALWAYS visible to the eye, but not to the app. Still, those times when it works, the result is spectacular.

I downloaded this app while in Toronto and had some success. I get home to Calgary to find out theres no support. Too bad!

When you get planes, very cool. Even awesome! Info on planes is not always complete. Often doesnt show planes in the air. Ive tried it in various places and its hit and miss. A little surprised to find nothing in South Florida near Tampa.

This app needs much improvment i Work 3 km away From Toronto yyz airport and I can see only a few planes when there is at least 10-14 visible to my eyes Keep improving it nice concept

...but it doesnt seem to see many of the planes at Vancouver international.

Very little activity for cyow, if any at all.

A great concept but has limitations...does not always recognise when there are aircraft in the vicinity despite their presence being obvious...an increase in font size and improvement in the information display would be very welcome...look forward to improvements!

Doesnt pick up all airplanes just some. Huge battery drainer!

Great concept. I love it when it works. I am skeptical about its accuracy of flight information. Such as why is a flight from Boston to Florida flying over Southern Ontario. Other times no acknowledgement of a planes.

U need to larger radar window and touch to enlarge data on aircraft Otherwise brilliant app

Cant get it to work.. Always getting errors with the compass.

Fun app. Just need to have the yellow info come in easier and firmer to read .
